This tab contains general preferences for the MostLogin application.
General Settings Guide
Learn how to configure your basic client preferences, application behavior, connection checking channels, and local storage data in MostLogin.
To access these settings, navigate to the Settings icon (gear icon) on the left sidebar and select General settings.
1. App Open Size
Choose how the MostLogin client appears on your screen when launched.
Default: Opens the client in its standard, pre-set window size.
Maximize: Automatically launches the client in full-screen mode for a broader workspace.
2. App Close Action
Define what happens behind the scenes when you click the close button (X) on the client window.
Minimize to tray: Keeps the app running in the background system tray so you can reopen it quickly.
Prompt on close: Displays a confirmation dialog before closing to prevent accidental exits.
Close app: Fully terminates the application and all running background processes immediately.
3. IP Check Channel
Select the third-party database channel MostLogin uses to verify and display your proxy IP location and details.
Use the dropdown menu to choose your preferred provider (e.g., IP2Location).
👍 Tip: If you experience slow loading times when launching browser environments, switching to an alternative IP check channel can often improve performance.
4. Human-like Typing
This feature simulates natural human keystrokes when pasting text into a browser environment, helping you bypass strict anti-bot detection systems.
Once configured, you can trigger this by right-clicking inside a profile environment and selecting the paste option, or by using your custom shortcut.
Speed Settings: Select Slow, Normal, or Fast to match your operational requirements.
Delay: Fine-tune the custom intervals (in milliseconds) between keystrokes.
Shortcut: Set a custom hotkey combination (e.g.,
Ctrl+Alt+I) to quickly trigger human-like typing on your active clipboard content. Click Edit to change it.
5. Profile Cache Directory
Manage where local environment data—such as cookies, local storage, and cache files—is stored on your local computer disk.
Current Path: Displays your active local directory path.
Change: Click this link to select a new folder on your hard drive. This is useful if your primary drive is running low on space.
Clear all cache: Click this option to wipe out all locally stored cache files.
⚠️ Warning: Clearing all cache will clear temporary files across profiles. Make sure all important browser data and sessions are synchronized with the cloud before proceeding.
