The proxies section provides tools to add, manage, and monitor your proxy servers.

1. Navigating the proxies interface

At the top of the proxies page, you will find:

  • Add proxy button: Click the large blue "+ Add proxy" button to add a new proxy server.

  • Batch ops (batch operations): This dropdown menu allows you to perform actions on multiple selected proxies simultaneously.

  • Proxy server IP check: Click this to verify the IP address and status of your proxy servers.

  • Tags filter: Use this dropdown to filter your proxy list by specific tags you've assigned.

  • Search/filter icon (magnifying glass): Located on the far right, this icon allows you to search for specific proxies within your list.

  • Display options icon (stacked lines): Adjust the display of your proxy list (e.g., column visibility).

2. Understanding the proxy list columns

The main table displays a list of your configured proxies with the following columns:

  • Checkbox: Select individual proxies to perform batch operations.

  • Protocol: Indicates the type of proxy protocol used (e.g., "socks5").

  • Proxy server IP: Shows the IP address of the proxy server. For security or brevity, it might be partially masked.

  • Host:port: Displays the full host IP address and port number of the proxy .

  • Access: Specifies who has access to or owns this proxy. "Me" indicates it's accessible by your account.

  • Tag: Custom tags assigned to the proxy for organization (e.g., "FB" for Facebook). You can add or edit tags.

  • Remark: A field for any additional notes or remarks about the proxy.

  • Operations: This column contains actions you can perform on individual proxies:

    • Edit icon (pencil): Click to modify the details of the proxy.

    • Delete icon (trash can): Click to remove the proxy from your list.

3. Adding a new proxy

  • Click the "+ Add proxy" button.

  • A new window or form will appear, prompting you to enter the details of your new proxy server (e.g., protocol, host, port, username, password, tags, etc.).

  • Fill in the required information and save your changes.

3.1 Add a basic proxy

Basic Tab Configuration

Ensure the "Basic" tab is selected to manually enter your proxy details.

  • Proxy protocol:

    • This dropdown menu allows you to select the communication protocol for your proxy.

    • The default or currently selected option is "socks5". Click the dropdown arrow to see other available protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS).

  • Host:Port:

    • This is a critical field where you enter the proxy server's address (Host) and the specific port it uses for communication.

    • A question mark icon likely indicates a tooltip providing more information or examples for correct format (e.g., 192.168.1.1:8080).

  • Account:

    • If your proxy requires authentication, enter your proxy username in this field.

  • Password:

    • If your proxy requires authentication, enter your proxy password in this field.

    • An "eye" icon is typically present to allow you to toggle the visibility of the password characters for verification.

  • Rotate URL:

    • This field is for entering a URL that, when visited, will rotate your proxy IP address if your proxy provider supports dynamic IP rotation.

    • The "Rotate" button next to the input field triggers an immediate IP rotation for testing or manual rotation.

  • Check proxy server IP:

    • Click this button to test the configured proxy settings. The system will attempt to connect through the proxy and display the IP address it detects, confirming if the proxy is working correctly.

Configuration Fields

  • Access *:

    • This is a required field.

    • It determines who can access or use the proxy you are configuring.

    • Default access is "Me", but you can edit the access to "Team view" or "Team edit"

  • Tag:

    • This field allows you to assign tags to the item for easier organization and filtering.

  • Remark:

    • Use this field to add any additional notes or descriptions about the proxy.

    • There is a character limit, you can type up to 500 characters.

3.2 Add API extracted proxy

API Extraction Tab Configuration

Ensure the "API extraction" tab is selected to add proxies by fetching them via an API.

  • Proxy protocol:

    • This dropdown menu allows you to select the communication protocol for the proxies extracted via API.

    • The default or currently selected option is "socks5". Click the dropdown arrow to see other available protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS).

  • Extraction method:

    • This dropdown menu defines when a new IP address will be extracted using your provided API link.

  • Extraction link *:

    • This is a required field.

    • Enter the API URL provided by your proxy service here. This URL will be used to fetch proxy IP addresses.

    • The "Extract" button next to the input field allows you to test the extraction link immediately and see if it successfully retrieves a proxy.

Configuration fields (same as basic)

Actions

  • Cancel (Button): Click this button to close the "Add proxy" dialog without saving any changes.

  • Confirm (Button): Click this button to save your API extraction proxy configuration. The system will then use the provided API link to manage your proxies based on your selected extraction method.
