The "Password and security" section of your MostLogin account settings is where you can manage your password, set up two-factor authentication (2FA), configure password verification for certain actions, and delete your account.
Accessing the Password and Security Section

This method requires you to know your current password.

2. 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)
Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a second form of verification in addition to your password.
Click the "Bind authenticator" button to set up 2FA. You will be required for an email verification.
After correctly entering the code sent to your email, you will see the next step.
Open your authenticator app: On your smartphone, open the authenticator application you've chosen.
Add a new account:
Look for an option within the authenticator app to "Add an account," "Scan a QR code," or a similar function (often represented by a '+' or camera icon).
Scan the QR code:
MostLogin will display a QR code on your screen within the "Bind authenticator" dialog.
Use your authenticator app's camera function to scan this QR code. The app will automatically detect MostLogin's account information and generate a 6-8 digit code that refreshes every 30-60 seconds.
Alternatively (if QR code scanning isn't possible or preferred): MostLogin may also provide a manual setup key (text string). If so, select the "Enter a setup key manually" option in your authenticator app and type this key exactly as provided.
Enter the verification code:
Once your authenticator app has successfully added the MostLogin account, it will display a continuously changing code.
Immediately type this current code from your authenticator app into the designated "Verification code" field in the MostLogin "Bind authenticator" dialog.
Confirm binding:
Click the "Confirm" or "Bind" button in the MostLogin dialog box.
3. Password Verification
This section allows you to enable or disable the requirement for your password to be entered before performing specific sensitive actions.
When deleting profiles:
Toggle ON: If this toggle is on, you will be prompted to enter your login password before you can delete any profiles. This provides an extra layer of protection against accidental or unauthorized profile deletion.
Toggle OFF: If this toggle is off, you can delete profiles without having to enter your login password. You will need to enter your password to continue.
When transferring profiles:
Toggle ON: If this toggle is on, you will be prompted to enter your password before you can transfer any profiles. This helps prevent unauthorized transfer of your profiles to another account.
Toggle OFF: If this toggle is off, you can transfer profiles without having to enter your password. You will need to enter your password to continue.
4. Delete account
If you do not wish to use MostLogin's service anymore and you want to delete your account, make sure that you have deleted all your data assets first.
Warning message: "You must delete all profiles, folders, and team members before you can delete your account."
This is a critical prerequisite. Before you can proceed with deleting your account, you must manually delete every profile and folder you have created.
Additionally, if you are part of a team or have team members associated with your account, you will need to remove all team members or disband your team (if applicable).
