1. Upload new extensions

The process of uploading new extensions in Extension management is the same as uploading in Extension application. The extra step you will need to take is to apply extension to My extensions and/or Team extensions.

2. Add to My extensions

Select the extensions you want to add to your own extensions, they will be applied to all profiles you have access to.

3. Add to Team extensions

Select the extensions you want to add to Team extension groups to be shared with team members.

4. Update an extension

4.1 Update a Chrome Store extension

Click the refresh icon to check for updates. If there's a newer version of the extension, you can confirm updating the extension or not.

4.2 Replace a locally uploaded extension

Click the replace icon to pull up the Replace extension popup window.

Replace your extension by uploading a new file.

5. Delete extensions

5.1 Delete a single extension

Click the trash bin icon to delete a single extension. If the extension has been applied in Extension application, it will be removed from there as well. Click [Confirm] to continue.

5.2 Batch delete extensions

Select the extensions to be deleted. Not only the extensions will be deleted from Extension management, they will also be removed from Extension application.

6. Enable/Disable extensions

6.1 Disable the extension

  • Locate the extension: On the main page (likely an extensions management page), find the extension you wish to disable.

  • Toggle the switch: To disable an extension, click on its associated toggle switch.

Upon clicking the toggle switch to disable an extension, a "Confirm disable extension" pop-up window will appear to ensure you intend to proceed.

  • Warning Message: Read the warning carefully: "This extension will be disabled in your own extensions and in team group extensions you have created (if added). To enable it again, simply toggle the switch."

    • This message clarifies that disabling the extension will apply to both your personal use and any team group extensions where you have included it.

    • It also provides instructions on how to re-enable the extension in the future.

  • Confirmation Options:

    • Cancel (Button): Click this button if you have changed your mind and do not wish to disable the extension. The pop-up will close, and the extension will remain in its current state (enabled).

    • Confirm (Button): Click this button to proceed with disabling the extension. The pop-up will close, and the extension will be disabled across your specified environments.

6.2 Enable the extension

  • Locate the Extension: On the main page, find the extension you wish to enable.

  • Toggle the Switch: To enable an extension, click on its associated toggle switch.

Upon clicking the toggle switch to enable an extension, an "Enable extension" pop-up window will appear to confirm your action.

  • Information Message: Read the message carefully: "This will enable the extension in your personal extensions as well as team extensions (if added)."

    • This clarifies that enabling the extension will apply to both your personal use and any team group extensions where you have included it.
