1. Edit a single proxy's access

  • Locate the proxy:

    • From your "Proxies" list, find the specific proxy for which you want to adjust the access.

  • Access the "Access" edit option:

    • In the row of the desired proxy, navigate to the "Access" column.

    • You will see the current access setting (e.g., "Me").

    • To the right of the current access setting, click on the blue pencil/edit icon (as indicated by the red arrow in the provided image).

  • Select the desired access level:

    • Clicking the pencil icon will open a dropdown menu with the following options:

      • Me: Only you (the current user) can view, select, and edit this proxy. This is typically the default for newly created proxies.

      • Team view: All team members can view and select this proxy, but only you can edit its settings.

      • Team edit: All team members can view, select, AND edit this proxy. Be cautious when selecting this option, as it grants full control to your team.

  • Confirm the change:

    • If you select "Team edit," you will be prompted with a "Confirm edit access" dialog. Review the warning and the explanation of "Team edit" access.

    • Click "Confirm" to proceed with the change or "Cancel" to revert.

  • Verify the update:

    • After selecting your desired access level, the "Access" column for that specific proxy will update to reflect your choice (e.g., it will change from "Me" to "Team view" or "Team edit").

2. Edit multiple proxies' access -- change to "Team edit"

  • Initiate the access change:

    • Navigate to your "Proxies" list.

    • Select the proxies for which you want to change the access.

    • "Batch ops" function had a dropdown menu, click [Edit access].

    • Choose the "Team edit" option.

  • Understand the "Confirm edit access" Dialog:

    • Once you select "Team edit," a "Confirm edit access" dialog will appear.

    • Warning Message: "You're editing the proxy's access to 'Team edit'." This clearly states the action you are about to confirm.

    • Explanation of "Team edit" Access: "Team members can view, select, and edit this proxy." This is crucial information, informing you that any team member will have full control over the proxy, including the ability to make changes.

  • Confirm or Cancel the change:

    • To Confirm: If you understand and agree with the implications of giving "Team edit" access to your team members for the selected proxies, click the blue "Confirm" button.

      • Result: The proxy's access will be updated to "Team edit."

    • To Cancel: If you do not wish to grant "Team edit" access, or if you need to review your decision, click the "Cancel" button.

      • Result: The access change will be aborted, and the proxy's access settings will remain as they were before you initiated the edit.

⚠️ About the access:

  • Me: Your team members will NOT be able to view or select the proxy. If the proxies have been applied in profiles, they will be replaced to "direct".

  • Team view: Team members can view and select this proxy.

  • Team edit: Team members can view, select, and edit this proxy.
